I'm Kaori Tokuoka, the proud owner of Ori Floral Design. Tokyo, Japan is where I was born and raised, and in 2011, I embarked on a journey to the U.S. Over the years, I've called New Jersey and New York City home, but in 2020, I found my heart in the vibrant Fishtown/East Kensington area of Philadelphia.
Crafting enchanting moments is my passion, whether it's at weddings, intimate gatherings, or in the cozy corners of homes. Witnessing the pure delight on people's faces when I deliver their blooms is what truly fills my heart with joy.
To me, flowers are like little marvels that have a way of embracing our emotions, be it in times of happiness or sorrow. I'm on a mission to extend these moments to everyone and to sprinkle a bit of happiness through the language of flowers.

Kaori was an absolute DREAM to work with for my wedding! As an alternative bride, and also a gardener and lover of flowers, I had a very specific vision for my wedding florals and was extremely picky about what I wanted. With all my needs in mind, Kaori was still able to absolutely WOW me come wedding day. Kaori was incredibly thorough, patient, and flexible at every step of the wedding planning process. She is a wonderful communicator and just an absolute delight to work with! Kaori was always ready to ‘roll with the punches’ as things came up and truly went above and beyond for me. On top of that, Kaori’s floral design work is absolutely MINDBLOWING! Myself, my bridal party, and all of my guests were completely blown away by her work at my wedding. My photographer could not put my bouquet down – “just a few more photos of these flowers!” is what I kept hearing as I was getting my makeup done. Kaori has a truly amazing eye for floral design and creates absolutely breathtaking work for our ceremony and reception dinner - I was wowed by the bouquets she made for farmers markets and shops, but there was nothing that could have prepared me for the impact of her wedding work. I have full confidence in Kaori and without a doubt would recommend her to anyone getting married or just wanting to send beautiful flowers to a loved one!
